DONATE:

We are very much in need of nice, clean items to sell: clothing; dishes and housewares, linens; crafts; videos and books; decorative and gift pieces; jewelry; paintings, etc.  While we do NOT have room for large appliances, we are happy to take furniture in very good condition.  Please keep in mind that we cannot sell stained, torn, broken, cracked or dirty items – thank you!  Out of the area but have some nice stuff to donate?  Please mail them to:  Sanctuary Seconds, 806 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID  83864.  See tax notice below; we'll be happy to mail you a receipt upon request.

Prices are very reasonable at our all-volunteer store!  New items arrive daily; please stop by often!

VOLUNTEER:

Three or six hours once a week would be such a huge help!  It’s an easy and enjoyable way to spend part of your day.  Become part of something rewarding and important not only to the lives of the precious animals we help, but to the community!

LTFAS (Life-Time Friends Animal Sanctuary, Inc.) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, located on 10 acres in Careywood (not far from Sandpoint),  that focuses on preventing cruelty to animals and alleviating suffering by rescuing stray, abused, abandoned and homeless animals.

We nurture the animals back to health and place them in responsible, loving homes. If suitable homes are not found, the animals live out their natural lives in our Sanctuary with grace and peace in a stress-free, cage-free, indoor-outdoor, caring environment.  Donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
